The Systems Engineer (SE), Enterprise, will be a pre-sales technology expert or sales engineer role supporting the Enterprise focused sales force, and the local business. In this role the SE will enable the deployment of Apple solutions at scale. With iOS or macOS platform and Apple product expertise, and a strong technology background, the SE will be expected to manage technical sales engagements, and/or develop and execute technical readiness plans. Technical sales engagement activities include pre-sales technical qualification, customer presentations or briefings to technical audiences, influencers and stakeholders, and technical account planning which advances Apple advocacy and platform adoption. Technical readiness plans facilitate the technical readiness of our partners. Activities include Apple advocacy, customer or partner presentations or briefings to technical audiences, influencers and stakeholders, joint technical sales engagement, solution development, and technical enablement.

Key Qualifications

  • Pre-sales or sales engineer, solution architect, or mobile architecture
  • Channel, partner or alliance technical manager
  • Software, solution, or consultative pre-sales
  • In-depth Apple technology, mobile, or related integration and infrastructure
  • iOS App Design or Development
  • Modern user-centric IT practice including deployment and support methods
  • 7 years of related work, and degree level education or significant experience


An SE will be expected to have and develop in-depth technical understanding Apple platforms, Apple products, and the related systems and ecosystem. Knowledge could include Apple technology administration at scale, IT and/or mobile architectural design, iOS or macOS platform expertise, device management, data or network communication systems, device and data security, application design or development and, or change, or technology consulting. With this knowledge, an SE will remove technology adoption inhibitors, and address knowledge gaps among stakeholders, influencers, and partners. The SE will be able to research and architect systems to validate solutions, or to demonstrate technology. Ideal candidates will demonstrate their technology expertise, technology and business credibility, an ability to link technology to business intent, strong written and spoken communication, and capacity to manage complex pre-sales situations. The role will involve: Manage technical pre-sales engagements as agreed with Enterprise sales force Manage and build credibility with internal and external stakeholders Plan, prepare and deliver technology focused presentations Develop and execute a technical readiness plan with partners Build and maintain understanding all Apple technologies and services Build and maintain understanding of related systems and partners Build and maintain expert level in at least one relevant field Collaborate with local and extended sales and field engineering teams Track, analyse and communicate key outcomes and business impact
