In this highly visible role, you will work with display and SOC architects, SOC RTL design and verification teams, and display technology teams to support the developments of the SOC display architectures across Apple’s iOS products. Join this team, and you’ll collaborate with engineers across Apple to develop algorithms, architectures that help build the seamless technology experiences we’re known for worldwide. Apple's Platform Architecture team is looking for a Display and Visualization Architect. In this role, you will be collaborating with Software and Hardware architects, designers and validation engineers from our software design, silicon design and display engineering teams to develop pixel processing algorithms and SoC HW architectures for Apple displays.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in system engineering in SoC
  • Strong SoC architecture and micro-architecture knowledge
  • Deep understanding of visualization technologies, including pixel pipelines, interface to DDR, link interfaces (LVDS, DP, eDP, MIPI, HDMI, etc.), display timing controllers and pixel technologies (LCD, OLED) – preferred
  • Programming experience (C/C++, scripting) - preferred


As a member of the Platform Architecture team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end Visualization systems for Apple’s iOS products. Responsibilities include: Define and document display system architecture, working in close collaboration with SOC and display architecture teams, software teams and display engineering teams.
