Weekly Hours: 42
Role Number: 200022830
The Platform Architecture team is looking for a Modeling Architect to develop C-models of the next-generation silicon logic for image processing, computer vision and image understanding. This will also include modeling the memory system and architecturally validating that the model behaves correctly. The Modeling Architect will interact with the design and validation teams. Background in image processing or computer vision systems is helpful but not essential. The candidate should have strong skills in C programming and experience in hardware development.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in developing hardware IPs and C/C++ models for validation
  • Excellent understanding of logic design and memory systems
  • Ability to invent algorithms suitable for hardware implementations
  • RTL skills would also be useful

Implement bit-accurate C/C++ behavioral models of hardware Write detailed specifications and diagrams that can be unambiguously used to design ASICs Develop architectural tests to confirm functionality of the designs Create reference models of firmware and compilers that are needed to utilize the new hardware designs Work with design and validation to debug the design Maintain a build environment that can be shared by the engineers
