You will have responsibilities spanning various aspects of the design of the related IP, including: Invent and evaluate new display processing algorithms suitable for hardware implementations, such as high quality image scaling, back-light control, local contrast enhancement. Prototype new systems through models (Matlab, C++) Work with chip architecture team, software teams, display engineering teams to define, document and implement display processing architectures

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in image processing/display color processing algorithm development for hardware implementations:
  • Experience working on various aspects of display pipeline including image scaling, back-light control, contrast enhancement
  • Experience working on various aspects of display color management
  • Experience with display colour calibration
  • Experience writing hardware architecture specifications
  • Experience with signal processing and its applications to display processing

In this role, you will be interfacing with software and hardware architects, designers and validation engineers from our software design, silicon design and display engineering teams to develop pixel processing and color management algorithms and SOC hardware architectures for Apple displays.
