In this role you will be responsible for the micro-architecture of the RF/Analog portion of the WLAN/BT IPs.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of WLAN and BT system architecture experience in mobile applications
  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop detailed system architecture and design documentation
  • Familiarity with RFIC design and development process is preferred
  • Experience with RF system simulation tools and modeling such as ADS Ptolemy, SystemVue, AWR VSS, or Matlab
  • Experience in world-wide regulatory compliance of radio systems
  • Experience in definition/implementation of RF-Impairment calibrations (IQMM, DC, DPD, etc) as PHY-System engineer


Define, document and Spec WLAN/BT RF micro-architectures and performance requirements Analyse & simulate RF system performance including Frequency Planning (spur effects), radio coexistence (on chip and on board), and cascaded chain analysis for all the RF Impairments (Linearity, Thermal, Quantization Noise, etc) RF coexistence – conditions, mitigation schemes, performance targets and Spec extraction Optimise RF system performance via internal technology development WLAN/BT front end modules (FEMs) – collaborate with RF HW team to specify RF architectures and performance targets, and manage the related vendors
