The Carrier manager will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy and driving the business with all of the telco operators in Israel. Carrier manager will play a critical role that is focused on crafting and driving our strategic relationship with the partners, will consult and influence the executive team within the carriers organisation to grow Apple’s business across all lines including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch and Accessories – all contributing to driving the partner’s business forward. Reporting to the country manager, you will have full management of influencing and driving objectives through key relationships. Strong leadership, mentoring and extraordinary presentation skills are needed to succeed in this role.

Key Qualifications

  • Strategic planning, tactical execution, account development, new business development, forecasting
  • Strong sales background including demonstrated senior level sales management experience
  • Results oriented with a consistent track record of achieving and beating revenue, share, unit targets and other set objectives while focusing on the bottom line
  • Relationship builder with a strategic eye for business experienced in developing solid relationships throughout all levels of an organisation
  • Analytical agility to convert data into business intelligence to achieve objectives
  • Strong great teammate teammate with demonstrated experience of driving initiatives within a complex dynamic matrix environment
  • Existing knowledge of the mobile device market, ideally having worked with or for carriers previously, would be a plus
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with carriers both at executive and at operational level.
  • Fluent English.


We are creating customer value propositions and a compelling value network through eco-systems selling, overall account strategy and opportunity finding while maintaining an excellent relationship with the carriers up to CxO level to develop a focused and productive alliance with Apple. Carrier manager stay on top of competitor's activities, account history, emerging trends and understand how to create and capitalise on internal and external opportunities. This position is responsible for achieving a significant portion of Apple’s sales revenue target and would require strong collaboration with many functions and senior partners within Apple. To succeed on the role strong leadership mind-set and background is required. Develop the tactical plans and activities with the carriers that will result in the successful achievement of the carrier’s iPhone and/or iPad sell through targets Create long term strategic business plans to achieve strategic objectives across all Apple product groups. The iPhone sales makes up the majority of revenue, but focus includes iPad, AW, Apple TV and Apple accessories Combine a deep understanding of the carriers business in Israel with a customer-focused consultative mind-set to lead innovation Develop growth initiatives and lead cross-functional teams within Apple and the Carrier to execute programs with excellence, Continually collaborate with the partner carrier to uncover new business growth opportunities for an outcome where everybody wins. Negotiate and execute quarterly demand generation activities with Carrier Partner with Operations and Apple field teams to bring an extraordinary Apple experience to life in stores Support the execution of Apple’s global enterprise strategy within the carrier channel Increase store-level productivity across corporate and channel by using carrier teams, training programs and resources and linking it all up with an aligned merchandising strategy Achieving results. The local Carrier Manager must ensure that the centrally agreed volume targets are achieved. Setting own agenda. The Local Carrier Manager must have a clear agenda for the role and must be capable of working under their own initiative in developing and implementing the required go-to-market strategy, follow-up with a business plan by account. Persuasive communication. Strong ability to influence and convince others internally and externally of the ideal go-to-market strategy for Israel and needs and demands of the selected business partners. Influencing and negotiation. Creativity. The need for flexibility and creativity in proposing new and different solutions to existing solutions. This ideal candidate must be a good presenter at all levels, and someone who can negotiate successfully with key accounts. He / she must have a team-oriented approach to driving business and ideally be familiar with working for an international company in a matrix type environment. Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Education & Experience

Ideally Educated to degree level in a quantitative or business discipline.
