Will you help us design future generations of revolutionary Apple products? The Apple Platform team is seeking a software engineer with a strong foundation in embedded engineering principles and a demonstrable passion for building new technologies. In this visible role you will be responsible to design, develop and implement complex SW modules for Apple products. You will become part of a hands-on development team that furthers engineering perfection, creativity and innovation. Dynamic, inspiring people and innovative technologies are the norm here. Key Qualifications
- Background in low-level software
- Excellent programming (C++/C/Assembly) and scripting skills (Python)
- Proficiency with debugging large, complex system software
- Experience with kernel, driver and firmware development a plus
- Experience with modeling and simulation a plus
- Knowledge of ARM and/or X86 architectures a plus
Description
Apple’s Platform Architecture group is seeking a systems engineer who will help bridge the gap between Software and Hardware, influencing performance improvements, power efficiency, security, and the programming ease of Apple products.
Education & Experience
MSCS or MSEE Degree or equivalent.
