In this highly technical role, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance and security of WiFi-enabled products. You will work closely with our development and validation teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate the functionality and robustness of WiFi Products.   • BS and a minimum of 10yrs relevant industry experience
  • Strong Experience with Python, Matlab, Perl, Javascript, C/C++, or C#
  • Experience with automation infrastructure development (traceability, repeatability) and related tools (GIT, CI, database, reporting tools)
  • Solid understanding of wireless networking principles, protocols, and standards, particularly WiFi6/7 (802.11ax/be). LTE/WCDMA/GSM, or 802.11ad/ay may be acceptable.
  • Proven experience in software architecture, with a focus on regression automation frameworks for wireless hardware is a big plus
  • Hands-on experience with WiFi testing tools and equipment, such as traffic generators, spectrum analyzers, and packet sniffers.
  • Experience developing test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in designing firmware based algorithms involving MAC-PHY interactions and SW based PHY configurations and implement codes in Python and in firmware.
  • Advanced degree preferred; MSEE or Ph.D
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
