We are looking to hire extraordinary individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams, to join our Site Reliability Engineering team that supports the database infrastructure as well as builds and runs the RDBMS platform that delivers Apple services to all of its customers around the world. You should be a self starter, motivated, with exceptional interpersonal skills as well as a positive and flexible approach to problems. The applicant should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline. As a part of this dynamic team, the applicant will help us build the Apple experience on a global scale.

Key Qualifications

  • B.S in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Application troubleshooting skills, including network and database
  • Distributed web architecture experience
  • Linux/Windows platform management skillset


Responsibilities will include: - Manage a team of application SREs - Innovate in the use of technical solutions - Cultivate strong relationships with peer groups, such as software engineers, program managers, and networking and storage groups. - Motivate team members and provide guidance to them as needed - Work closely with talent acquisition team to grow the team - Building an inclusive and diverse team that is able to deliver projects on time - Assess employee performance

Education & Experience

An engineering degree with CS knowledge or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • This role may require traveling to Cupertino, and other Apple locations, up to 20% of the time.
  • - Experience in working for a multi-national corporation with teams in different timezones
  • - Ability to code in Python/Go/Java
  • - Being able to review code and provide feedback
