The Siri Search & Knowledge teams are building groundbreaking technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. Siri’s universal search engine powers search features across a variety of Apple products, including Siri, Spotlight, Safari, Messages and Lookup. As part of this group, you will work with one of the most exciting high performance computing environments, with petabytes of data, millions of queries per second, and have an opportunity to imagine and build products that delight our customers every single day.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with crafting iOS/macOS apps in ObjC/Swift
  • 3+ years of experience with concurrency patterns in ObjC/Swift
  • Experience with Apple development tools
  • Comfort with large codebases and practical solutions
  • Understanding of software patterns that allow for testing
  • Understanding of client/server architectures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as in a team

Description

As a member of the team you’ll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field enabling efficiency and analysis. This position requires a proactive engineer with strong technical skills to handle responsibilities including: - Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition - Communicating ideas to our design team and other multi-functional teams - Participating in architecture and code reviews - Building internal engineering tools as necessary

Education & Experience

BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
