The AppleCare Business Process Reengineering (BPR) team has an immediate opening for a Systems Quality Management Automation Lead to advocate and drive our test automation strategy across complex AppleCare programs. We are looking for an expert in modern testing techniques, tools and automated solutions who will be able to lead Test Automation strategizing, planning, creating, scheduling and executing of tests for AppleCare. You will be working along side Systems Quality PMs, Project PMs, Business & development teams to fanatically ensure the highest quality test automation for our business and stakeholders while reducing manual test efforts.
Key Qualifications
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Experience managing multiple automation journeys across companies and testing phases from Integration Testing or/and end to end User Acceptance Testing.
- Excellent knowledge of QA automation methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring solutions.
- Experience working with frameworks like such as Worksoft, Tosca, UFT, Selenium TestNG etc.
- Experience developing in Python or Java, familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence multi-functional teams and quickly establish trust and credibility.
- Strong level of customer focus and attention to details.
- Ability to think & execute test automation from a user’s perspective.
- Where needed, drive small to medium UATs in order to understand current process and identify automation activities.
Description
- Quality advocate who will collaborate with internal organisations, project teams, partners and other vertical leads in S/4 Hana program to implement and adopt an automation strategy.
- Ability to analyse and synthesise business requirements across multiple regions and ensure full coverage of test scenario automation.
- Evaluate, select and formulate the best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different applications and business processes.
- Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to improve productivity and quality.
- Analytical capability to synthesise large amounts of data into a clear story and assess business process improvement.
- Ability to persuades, influence and/or drives engagement.
- Communication and co-ordination with globally distributed teams.
- Supports automation script development and the optimisation of those scripts where necessary.
- Working knowledge and hand on experience with industry best practices in software testing.
- High level of professionalism, energy and sense of urgency to “make things happen”.
Education & Experience
B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Quality Assurance certification (ISTQB, ASQ, etc) is highly desirable.
