Apple's SAP Global Systems organization within IS&T is looking for a Test Engineer for the SAP Landscape Modernization (SLM) Program is a key member of the project team and works directly with the Global SLM Program Testing Lead. Key Qualifications
- 7+ years of Testing experience in STLC using waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in performing functional testing of the SAP Finance/WM/MM/SD sub modules. Experience in Worksoft or any other testing tools.
- Experience of leading global teams with complex business process design and validated implementation experience of test planning, execution & integration.
- Must have hands on experience with S/4HANA Transformation projects.
- Develop Test Plan and enhance existing Test strategy for the Program and lead the delivery from requirement to Stabilization phase.
- Handle test deliverable documents and execution of all test scenarios both in system testing and SIT (System Integration Testing) phases including all Interfaces, Integrations between systems, API’s, File Transfers etc.
- Sound knowledge on designing test cases and test data sets for test execution. Co-ordinate with collaborators to identify and review the scenarios, review the test results.
- Develop UAT Plan and review with Business. Run the UAT with business users and get UAT approval.
- Drive business alignment on test planning activities and drive horizontal tracks within testing (Scoping, Scripting, Data, Environment, Automation, Defect Management & Reporting) with IT & Business teams.
- Run defect Triage calls and resolve open defects.
- Automation experience would be a plus
- Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
- Problem solving, negotiation and Decision-making skills required.
- Team Handling and Leadership skills for tracking of tasks.
Description
The SLM Program Test Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of testing for our large-scale S/4HANA transformation – from Testing strategy to UAT sign off by the business. This job entails to complete the already existing test strategy, define entry/exit criteria of the various test phases, schedule and conduct testing kick off meetings, work closely with Project Manager(s) and/or Solution Manager(s) to understand and detail the testing requirements, daily coordination and follow up with Partner’s onshore and offshore team members on the work they are doing, the calculation of high level testing resource estimate, Analyze testability of project requirements, Test case creation automated/manual, plan regression testing with existing regression test team.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
