To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Business Planning Program Manager to help us do extraordinary things. The Apple Store Online Business Planning team plays a critical role in supporting leadership decision making and leads org-wide people programs and strategies, such as Growth and Development, Global Employee Engagement, Inclusion and Diversity and Internal Communications. The team is in search of a Business Planning Program Manager. Inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work The ideal candidate would be highly organized, a strong writer, passionate about team engagement, be a creative thinker and work with urgency in mind. This position will work closely with the Business Planning team and be responsible for a number of strategic org initiatives. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills to identify issues, form hypotheses, and synthesize into recommendations. They should be comfortable addressing senior executives, and can influence while collaborating with key partners and cross functional teams.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in a business planning/operations capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence people across teams
  • Natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus and implement, with an eye for details
  • Effective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies/time-zones while demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Thrives in a very dynamic, global environment and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Looks through a business and customer lens to help synthesize a story
  • Experience working in both program and project management, with exceptional skills in leading complex, cross-functional projects for global audiences
  • Outstanding ability to see opportunities, problem solve creatively, and work through ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficient in Keynote/PowerPoint, Numbers/Excel and Pages/Word
  • A positive, team-player attitude, passionate about developing and driving short- and long-term communications plans and delivering in a dynamic environment, while building a positive organizational culture around a unified mission

Description

In this role you will: Provide substantial contributions to Apple Store Online Lead the Global Employee Engagement program focused on networking, wellness, I&D and community giving Help organize and facilitate strategic org development activities Lead select special projects for the Apple Store Online leadership team Create event communications, track activities and work with global team members to execute Assist with executive presentations, including asset wrangling and story mining, which includes synthesizing disparate information into leadership level messaging Organize and facilitate specific communication, growth and development programs Assist with various research, data analysis, tracking, organization, coordination, scheduling and copywriting projects Look beyond daily demands to find opportunities Contribute to an inclusive environment through respecting each others’ differences and having the curiosity to learn Demonstrate Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities

Education & Experience

BA/BS in Business Administration/Communications or equivalent experience desired. Writing samples may be requested.

Additional Requirements

  • Occasional meetings with team members in Asia and Europe during overlapping business hours.
