A unique opportunity exists for an outstanding candidate to actively promote the sales of Apple products and services in retail sector, especially in the Consumer Electronics (CE), distributors and also online retail partners.

Key Qualifications

  • Channel Management and Retail sales experience preferred (at least 8 -10 years and above). Experience with online retail industry would be a plus.
  • Proven People Leadership to lead an experienced team of Channel Account Managers
  • Consistent track record in the delivery of ambitious growth targets.
  • Sales management experience / Retail partnership management.
  • Aggressive focus on goals and continuous improvement.
  • Sophisticated communication skills (including English)
  • Direct experience with merchandising plans.
  • Professional manner, maturity and outstanding customer & partner skills.
  • Forecasting, prior quota management and partner management ability.
  • Good intuition for business skills in engaging senior partners’ management team.
  • Passion, personal drive and a sense of humour.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.

Description

You will be working with the Country Manager and Channel Retail Leader to strategize, develop and execute sales initiatives that drive incremental business outcomes and outstanding Apple customer experience. To establish and lead close working relationship with the senior representatives of relevant multi-brand retail partners, distributors and online partners, to develop their sales efficiency and maximise the sales of Apple products to end-users. Act as a professional business personnel to develop and manage a reliable forecast and ensure the disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes. Hold regular performance and planning reviews with channel partners. Keep it simple, and passionate about great outcome for everyone. Planning: Agree quarterly marketing and in-store activities, responsibilities and weekly sell through targets. Ensure all POS forecast from Partners are reliable and understand the weekly variance where applicable. Work closely with Reseller Operations to forecast and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales forecasts Provide input to the Channel Marketing quarterly activities and in-store programs. Analyse the strength and weaknesses of our current POS and be able to develop a strategy to address issues of coverage or quality (or both). Develop a strong working relationship, team-work and sense of mutual respect with in-store manager and members of the virtual team. Implement planogram programs with in-store managers, as prescribed by Apple. Working with the Apple training team, to ensure that the virtual team sales staffs are of the highest standard and quality Understand the market and stores on a deep level, spending time in doors and sharing insights to management Always represent the Apple brand to the highest level

Education & Experience

We anticipate you will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
