We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Machining Center Process Engineer to work on advanced optical technology development. Will you help us create the next generation of revolutionary Apple products?

Key Qualifications

  • More then 3 years of experience in the area of machining center process (milling process)
  • Experience with machine operation, establishing processing condition, creating processing path and designing tool
  • Familiarity with 3D-CAD/CAM and creating processing path
  • Experience with precision measurement
  • Experience with measuring and analyzing of workpieces
  • Experience with 3D-CAD for designing jigs
  • Experience with developing products from scratch
  • High organization skills, motivation and drive
  • Japanese: Daily conversation, reading and writing


You will work on development of machining center processing. Machining center is the key process of the high precision mold processing. Effective use of 3D-CAD/CAM is required to deliver good results. For complicated and unique cases, you will establish original processing method with keeping high accuracy, therefore you should also be familiar with (or, willing to challenge) metrology, analysis methods and designing tools and jigs. We are seeking a person with logical thinking, self-driven and willing to take on a challenge.

Education & Experience

B.S./M.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering or equivalent field

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with processing of high precision mold parts regarding optics
  • Experience with processing of plastic material
  • Familiarity with mold, optical parts and optical design
