Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in ME/EE/MS etc required
- Possess strong quality control plan (PQP) to ensure product meet quality requirements
- Understand mechanical drawing, GD&T, and ERS (engineering requirement specification)
- Experienced in high volume commercial electronics industry, and in relevant job function, e.g. quality engineer, process engineer, PD etc.
- Familiar with common measurement metrology and FA method
- Familiar with precision component fabrication and assembly process
- Good in statistical analysis, experienced use of JMP or mini tab is a plus
- Good Failure analysis skill
- Experience in Machine Learning and/or AI is a plus
- Fluent Chinese and English, spoken and written
- Able to work under pressure and hands-on mindset.
- Excellent presentation skill
- Builds formal networks involving coordination among groups
- Flexible for travel, mostly domestic with possibility of international travel
Description
Set up and qualify quality infrastructures at supplier factory, includes but not limited to the following:
-Supplier’s quality system
-Supplier’s quality capability and resources/team
-Quality control plan (IQC/IPQC/CQA)
-Measurement system, include but not limited to dimensional, functional measurement, as well as visual inspections such as GRR, COR, OMM/CMM, AOI etc.
Review quality performance and drive continuous improvement
Owns quality excursion and meets quality goals for NPI and sustaining products
Provide foundation and OK2X process to move product from one phase to another until OK2Ship
Quality spokesperson in cross functional team and executive reviews
Collaborate with cross functional team including tech and non-tech operation, engineering and design, project management /procurement etc. to resolve quality issues and improve quality
Ensure quality plan PQP meets quality standards and product requirement.
