As an SDM Planning Manager, you will lead a dynamic team within the EMEiA Supply Demand Management (SDM) function in Cork. EMEIA SDM are responsible for analysing sales and maintaining supply to meet product demand within the EMEIA region (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated professional to join the SDM team as a manager to work towards achieving Apple’s goals by maximising sales with optimal inventory. This role will report to one of the SDM LOB (Line of Business) leads across in one of Apple's products - iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch or Accessories.

Description

Lead, mentor and develop a team of highly qualified professionals. Analyse demand, inventory, and sell through to develop and run weekly and quarterly supply plans. Results should meet Apple’s quarterly financial revenue goals, whilst also achieving order cycle time goals and minimising finished goods' liability. Evaluate risks to the plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Identify problem areas, and drive appropriate functional groups to correct. Own communication of supply outlook (Weekly/Quarterly) to key stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Finance, Logistics). Ensure supply supports regional sell-through across both direct and reseller channels whilst maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Collaborate internally to set launch quantities and ensure smooth product transitions ensuring optimal inventory balance and minimal excess. Identify and drive improvement to current product planning processes. Focus on customer experience regarding timely response to critical issues and driving corrective. Building strong partnerships with Reseller Operations and Retail Fulfilment Operations to understand the “Voice of the Customer”

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, IT, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Maths or similar discipline Post graduate qualification would be an advantage
