Apple University (AU) is looking for experienced leaders who are deeply interested in organizational culture and ready to make a transition into a full-time teaching role at AU. AU seeks to develop understanding, conversation, and critical thinking about Apple’s culture, organization, values, and role in the world in ways that enlighten, inspire, and build community among all Apple employees. To do so, we build and deliver original classes and seminars, beyond-the-classroom tools and content, and primary research projects.

Key Qualifications

  • You have the passion for teaching and helping others learn.
  • You possess a deep understanding, intuition, and curiosity about organizational 
culture and what makes Apple, Apple.
  • You have at least 8 years of leadership and management experience, a significant portion of it at Apple (strongly preferred).
  • You have strong executive presence and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the company.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to relate to and reflect business partners’ needs in a way that conveys understanding, respect and flexibility.
  • You are able to work independently and collaborate expertly, both within AU and across business functions. Positions in geo will require working across distance and time zones, often as the lone AU representative (geo roles will involve significant travel).
  • You have an open mind and a desire to explore new ideas and approaches.
  • You have superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teaching and classroom facilitations skills are essential; we can help you learn, but to be successful in this role you are someone who enjoys speaking to large groups.

Description

Responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to the following: Teach classes from existing AU curriculum, facilitate conversations related to complex content, and field questions with credibility based on experience and expertise. Engage with business leaders, managers, and People business partners to understand and support their businesses, organizations and development needs. Collaborate with AU programs and operations teams to deliver excellent learning experiences for participants at all levels of the organization. Inform current teaching and future development efforts by sharing insights and takeaways from classes and business engagements with the rest of AU. Support and/or mentor other employees to act as conduits of Apple’s culture, including AU Associates and colleagues on the People team. Education & Experience

Equivalent Degree, or significant related work experience.
