The role of the Marketing Communications group (Marcom) at Apple is to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications in support of Apple’s business goals. Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated marketing communications professional, to assume responsibility for the overall planning quality of Apple-centric communications developed by our carrier partners in Singapore. Heavy emphasis will be placed on senior relationship management (up to C-level) to drive world-class communications (ATL, BTL and online) and merchandising solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You work closely with the rest of the Marcom group and Product Marketing to localise and deploy global campaigns. You work with carrier partners to co-develop marketing communications (in the partner's own voice) to help drive awareness, consideration and sales. This position will also work with Sales organisation to understand the commercial and competitive dynamics which may influence our marketing strategies and execution. - Minimum 10 years of extensive brand/marketing communications experience, ideally with leading consumer electronics or telco brands, and/or affiliated marketing/advertising agencies.
- You have experience working within a global marketing organisation, ideally having worked in a geo/field role and/or a recognised creative/design driven organisation is a strong plus.
- You have deep experience in strategic account and campaign planning, including deployment of integrated communications, and account/client relationship management.
- You possess high emotional intelligence and ability to influence senior level management.
- You are self-motivated, flexible, resilient and possess the skills required to handle multiple tasks at once.
- You are a positive, detail oriented teammate with validated influencing/negotiation skills.
- A fluent English speaker with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
The primary responsibility of this role is to work with carrier partners in Singapore, focusing on the strategic planning and deployment of world-class communications campaigns (ATL, BTL and online) and channel merchandising programs supporting Apple’s most important products. Specific responsibilities include: - Ensuring strong planning and precise execution for product launch and seasonal campaigns, in-line with Apple’s worldwide product and marketing priorities. - Working closely with partners to develop impactful co-created marketing campaigns. That includes TV projects - from brief development, creative feedback, production, timeline management and internal review/approval. - Ensuring partner media and in-store marketing/merchandising opportunities are fully understood, and result in the most premium positions for Apple products, merchandising and messaging. - Representing Apple marketing guidelines and programs with carrier partners, and handling the day-to-day review and approval of product and tactical marketing communications. - Managing timely and well-framed escalations to the WW Marketing team, to help ensure our partners' communications make the biggest possible impact in market. - Providing account dashboards and partner updates to the WW Marketing and Geo Sales teams, including product launch summaries, monthly account updates and any other partner-related marketing challenges and opportunities. - Ensure each managed partner plans and executes communications and merchandising activities, maximising use of available funds for Apple product range. - Provide spend reporting and any necessary escalations as required to WW Marketing.
