The Senior Technical Project Manager is the culmination of all the skills and resources of a validated Project/Program Manager with additional Design, Construction, Technical expertise and CRM skills. You will have a consistent track record and emphasis on technical project development and delivery, financial and risk analysis, understanding of various contract delivery methods, people skills, timely problem identification and resolution, construction techniques and PM tools and processes at high and low complexity levels. You have sound understanding of Time, Cost, Risk and Quality management through end-to-end project ownership. Ability to act fast on their feet whilst dealing with multiple Apple stakeholders and internal delivery streams with accurate and timely structured and ad-hoc reporting will be a requirement.

Key Qualifications

  • You will have about 15+ years in Project Management within a recognized consulting or client Organization
  • Majority of your recent experience to be within the technical infrastructure environment including the design and construction of clean rooms and highly technical spaces
  • You hold a related experience, including corporate office environment and fast track delivery models; the ability to connect and lead dispersed internal/external project teams
  • Understanding of China construction methods and approval processes Experience with high-end local and International technical projects is an advantage
  • Verbal and written English and Consistent track record in delivery of projects Based in Singapore with ability to travel throughout the region and internationally if required
  • You will have Project and Program Management skills
  • You have the vendor management/performance measurement skills, strong process orientation, individual accountability and execution area specific skills
  • Deep knowledge about development, Design, Construction and Project management
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate well at all levels Understanding of both large and small sites
  • Understanding of MEP design and technical terms
  • Advanced skills in project planning, execution & management processes
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiations skills Professional manner and presentation
  • You are a self starter, highly motivated to succeed and provide best-in-class PM services
  • Able to work as individual or team contributor Strong reporting ability – accurate in written and verbal
  • Project Management software competency, particularly MS Project 2010 above iWorks or MS Office competency e.g. Spreadsheet, Word, Presentation

Description

Leadership and accountability for all Project Management within the APAC market, including: - You will be working with Apple LOB, RE&D and their nominated internal/external vendors/partners - Participate in the regional technical/engineering focus group to improve consistency of delivery and service. - Hands-on provision of comprehensive PM tools & services - Handle single or multiple, simple to complex projects simultaneously - Adherence to the use of established protocols, tools & processes – strong compliance - Participate alone, or in team, for project strategy/delivery presentations to RE&D customers. - Follow-up with Apple Stakeholders on project delivery tracking, issues/risks and results - Ensure project(s) meet Apple's time, cost, quality constraints & overall goals and objectives. - Development of project planning, tools, standards, policies, guidelines and processes related to China/International Design, Construction and Project Management. - Evangelisation, communications and training related to simple and/or complex Design, Construction and Project Management issues - Advising and driving improvement changes for simple and/or complex Design, Construction and Project Management issues and strategies.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Professional Training and Certification CPM, PMI or IFMA certification desirable
