We are seeking an Engineer in this rapidly growing team to continue building and maintaining these environments, and to add a new point of view in the next generation of building our learning environments.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-site network management experience
  • 3+ years cloud-based Unix server management experience
  • 3+ years of client-management (macOS and iOS) experience
  • Experience in design, deployment and maintenance of macOS and Unix Server systems
  • Unix scripting language experience is mandatory, examples of server or client automation required (Bash/Perl/Chef/Puppet…)
  • Proficient in high-capacity wired and wireless network planning, capacity management and maintenance
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to client computer, network and audio-visual network requirements
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to non-technical audiences
  • Proficient in management of Switches, Routers and Firewalls utilizing combinations of fibre optic, copper and wireless infrastructures
  • Proficient in designing for- and managing of- many networking protocols such as UDP, TCP, IPv4 and v6, Bonjour/ZeroConf, Bluetooth
  • Experience with managing and maintaining Audio Visual networks and associated controllers (Crestron)
  • Appreciation for fundamental business objectives
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
  • Experience with Crestron Audio Visual Networks is a bonus
  • Experience with Aerohive Networking Technologies is a bonus
  • Experience with JAMF MDM is a bonus
  • Ability to travel extensively internationally


In this role, you'll contribute to the definition of all technical requirements to meet and exceed client computing, network and audio-visual needs Research, develop, implement, maintain and provide training on new networking, client management and Audio Visual technologies You'll conduct regular review meetings with Vendors, Clients and IT Staff On-demand diagnosis, triaging and reporting of production issues across global sites Tracking and reporting of solution component lifecycle, managing EOL components from proposal to support-handover Architect creative solutions exceeding user expectations You'll ensure adherence with government policies, procedures, structure; applicable local, state and federal laws, codes, regulations and ordinances for data collection in various jurisdictions. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
