As a member of Global Security (Asia/Pacific) Fraud Investigations, the field Service Examination Engineer/Specialist will identify and provide input/feedback on the latest fraud detection methods and identification of unauthorized modifications for all Apple products. You will develop examination protocols and document findings that are consistent with Global Engineering to be accepted by law enforcement agencies for the purpose of court proceedings. If necessary, you will be required to attend court and represent Apple as an expert witness for court proceedings. Other tasks include data analysis, root cause analysis, diagnostic test and validation, and corrective action planning. This exciting position seeks an extraordinary, ambitious, and experienced individual who possesses strong analytic skills and work towards results.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience serving in an engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related role
  • Previous project and/or people management experience
  • Previous experience in the repair/service industry is a plus
  • Hands-on product experience (design, manufacture, or troubleshooting)

Support technical service quality activities for all Apple products Develop and execute verification/acceptance testing of field diagnostics Drive troubleshooting flow quality improvements Identify product technical service training needs Conduct/manage testing and analysis of device returns Lead root cause analysis activities Ability to travel on short notices: 20-25%

Education & Experience

- Technical Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
