Apple's IS&T team is seeking a Collaboration and Productivity (C&P) Specialist to be based in Singapore to (1) develop tools for C&P services, (2) offer deployment support and (3) provide end-user support for the Apple organisation. The role will entail a blend of all three aspects, each roughly taking a third of the role focus.

Key Qualifications

  • Mandarin proficiency is helpful but not mandatory


Design, develop and maintain software improvements and/or new tools in the C&P services, applying agile development methodologies Demonstrate experience in programming languages and technologies to plan sprints, write code, and perform testing of applications. Development experience in PHP, AJAX, Angular, MongoDB or SQL is expected Deploy mobile apps and desktop applications and take responsibility for code rollout to improve user productivity and process efficiency Work well with users to define new C&P use cases and/or refine existing solutions. Collaborate with the engineering teams to implement new functionalities in C&P platforms Complete project documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Experience in code versioning systems like Git or SVN is needed Rollout of corporate backup, software download and secure printing services in new Apple offices Evaluate new C&P services and technologies for continuous improvement, including technical evaluation, dedicated testing and engagement with third party vendors Support the macOS troubleshooting and productivity training for internal users to improve work productivity Support the readiness activities for production rollout of major macOS and C&P services. Knowledge and experience in macOS, iOS, Apache, LDAP, Unix, shell scripts and web server technologies is vital JOB SUMMARY We are hiring for a front line role, collaborating with our internal users and providing technology advocacy on how best to use and implement corporate systems and technologies. You’ll be joining a team of best-in-class engineers and interacting daily with teams that span across Apple’s business groups including operations, sales and engineering organisation. You will be developing tools for the C&P services, supporting end-user services on the Mac systems and security, as well as working with key business partners on deployment and maintenance of C&P services.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
