Apple is looking for a Credit Analyst to support growing sales while limiting credit risk. The Analyst is responsible for managing portfolios of customer credit lines and collateral management. Consequently the position requires good credit analytical skills, a hands-on approach towards preparing credit package, a meticulous mind to manage & administer collaterals, excellent interpersonal skills for communication within the Credit team, with our customers, Sales teams, Operations, broader Finance Team and external financing partners. This role is based in Singapore.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial credit and risk assessment experience
  • Ability to quickly understand financial statements, use Excel based models, credit rating agencies and other third party research
  • Ability to effectively articulate risks and mitigating factors for high risk accounts, including both financial and qualitative analysis
  • Strong writing that succinctly articulate credit analysis, customer relationship and recommended actions
  • Well-versed in customer contract credit language, credit risk mitigation structures and implementation (e.g. collateral, credit insurance, bank support, parent support, etc.)
  • Hands-on collateral (BG, SBLC, Corporate Guarantee etc) management, negotiation & documentation
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal direct supervision, relying on own discernment
  • You have the ability to influence & negotiate while working in a collaborative team environment
  • Deep understanding of how credit fits within the broader finance and business operations
  • Customer focus with strong customer relationship competency

Description

You will meet customers on a regular basis to assess performance and credit worthiness Analyze information to establish credit limits to facilitate sales while limiting losses Prepare periodic credit reviews and bad debt reserve analysis and reporting Manage security and collateral process and documentation Monitor changes in economic, industry, and customer conditions and maintain communication with various business divisions to evaluate potential changes to customers' credit worthiness and credit limits Make recommendations to mitigate risk when needed You will assist Collection team in resolving customer late payments and manage bad debt workouts if needed You are required to build positive relationship with work partners in Sales Finance, Sales, Operations, Global Finance Shared Service

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting required, MBA and/or bank credit training is a strong plus
