This is a key Retail IS&T position that will be responsible for managing a team of IS&T Field Leaders across APAC.

Key Qualifications

  • You possess an in depth understanding of technology and processes used in Retail stores (POS, Retail Network, Retail Hardware, Web Applications)
  • You have the ability to plan, organise and direct the work of a technical team
  • Strong communications, leadership and social skills; an ability to work well with all levels within the organisation and express a well-thought-out point of view
  • Excellent analytical and organisation skills, including proven ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to set priorities and handle tight deadlines
  • Experience with budget planning, forecasting and tracking of OPEX and CAPEX budgets
  • Ability to build teams and partnerships within the field and corporate organisation
  • Ability to think globally/creatively, turn information into effective strategies, and get results


- Lead, grow and manage field team on meeting and exceeding expectations on performance, defined metrics/benchmarks, and defined standards - Work closely with Sr Market Director, Market Directors, Market Leaders and Market Support to identify and resolve top issues impacting technology in the Apple Retail Stores. Be a resource to Retail Field Leadership on all areas of technology to explain systems and impacts. - Participate and engage in market meetings and calls to represent IS&T initiatives and address questions about technology/systems - Exercise sound management practices and support a productive working environment. Perform administrative management functions such as recruiting, performance evaluations, hiring, conflict management, goal setting, and developing skills. - Use experience of store processes, systems and feedback received from global field team, business teams and applications teams to recommend system improvements and changes. - Seamlessly flow across conversations with senior level leaders, technical leadership and functional Market Support partners - Develop policies and practices to establish and maintain standardisation. Ensure procedures are in synch with established corporate standards and properly documented. - Anticipate problems. Develop and implement appropriate solutions. Drive the resolution of issues within the team and cross functionally. Manage communications to the appropriate levels. - Identify and communicate standard methodologies to IS&T Field team

Education & Experience

- Bachelor or Master in related Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computing related Degrees
