The role of the Marketing Communications group at Apple is to ensure the precise development and execution of world-class communications in support of Apple’s business goals. Based in Singapore, the key responsibilities of Budget and Localization Coordinator within Apple’s Finance Marketing department are to: - Provide budgetary support to Marketing team members, including budget forecasting and tracking - Support SEA Operations Manager in all planning associated with localization workshops
- You will posses a University Degree and have significant experience in budget as well as project management at an ad agency or in-house marketing communications department. You will also hold a deep understanding of the creative services purchase process and the operational needs of a Marcom studio.

Budgetary Support - The position is primarily responsible for providing support to the Marketing team with Apple’s Purchase-to-Pay Process. - This includes creating, managing and tracking purchase orders as well as handling invoice approval workflow, documentation and filing. As the finance marketing coordinator person, you will work closely with the Marketing Finance Analyst to provide information utilized in monthly and quarterly financial closing while ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures as it relates to the Purchase-to-Pay Process. You will also work closely with functional producers to monitor PO consumption by approved jobs and post Good Receipts in SAP. If required, raise disputes on invoices with vendors or resolve payment delays raised by vendors. - Maintain database asset tracker for Product Marketing and Corporate Communications teams. - This role will assist in advertising database data entry and management, a critical tool used in the advertising budget and PO management process. They will also be responsible for distributing applicable database information/reports to the advertising team on a regular basis. When required, you will participate in budget calls with vendors and Apple Advertising DRI. Workshop Planning and Coordination - Working closely with the SEA Operations Manager, the Coordinator will help to develop the appropriate workshop staffing plans, infrastructure preparation (reconfigure of office space for geo workshops), as well as identify hardware and software configurations which are unusual to specific workshop staffers. - You will maintain and track workshop equipment inventory and work with the Geo Infrastructure technician to ensure equipment are set-up and checked prior to, during and after Geo based workshops. You will be tasked with the set up of Marcom confidential servers while working with WW Localization Coordinator to ensure correct staffers are given access according to approved disclosure lists. You will also act as point person for any associated badging needs or queries. - You are task to work with WW and Apple Travel on workshop travel arrangements and logistics. They will need to ensure geo staffers are sent travel plans and itineraries in an accurate, timely manner. - Attend Localisation planning calls and ensure that deadlines provided by WW are met. - You will also support the Ops Manager across related operational administration for Cupertino and in-geo workshops, including processing of visa application letters, U.S. invitation letters, food catering, as well as ensuring work spaces are equipped with relevant stationery and meet global security requirements.
Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 4+ years of working experience in a multinational environment
