Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of related commercial experience, preferably in a dynamic MNC environment
  • CPA or equivalent, with US GAAP and IFRS experience
  • Experience in SAP, Advanced Excel (VBA, Macro), Tableau will be an advantage
  • Meticulous with strong analytical skills. The ability to recognize issues within processes and organisations, while considering functional interdependencies
  • Strong teammate with ability to handle across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Possess a real passion for business process excellence
  • Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimum supervision

We are searching for an Accountant based in Singapore who will be reporting to the Finance Manager. Your role will play an integral part to manage the close activities for APAC entities in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for Apple policy, U.S. GAAP and local filing compliance. -You will be responsible to research and provide accounting guidance on the Local GAAP implementation of accounting standards applicable for the APAC entities. This includes assessment and recommendation of new standard adoption approach, review of contractual arrangements (in the case of leases) to ensure proper accounting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards. You will also be working with the team, regionally and globally, to identify consistent and effective process improvement opportunities and lead in automation solutions. -As an Accountant, you are responsible to own the annual statutory audit for the APAC entities with the Group auditor. The Audit Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, co-ordination, monitoring and administration for all audit requests to ensure timeliness. Any issues identified should also be addressed or called out in a prompt and professional manner. -Being part of an organization that promotes excellence, you will ensure robustness of the processes and internal controls as well as taking personal leadership to develop and drive a strong control environment to maintain the highest standard of statutory controls and compliance. You will be committed to partner with corporate and regional and local teams to meet deliverables that are aligned with key performance metrics and service level agreements defined with key partners. Additionally, you will play an active role in ensuring completion and successful implementation of ad hoc projects, making recommendations as necessary to support business operations and expansion.

Education & Experience
