GBS in Singapore manages all accounting and operational compliance activities for Apple’s extensive businesses in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Purchase to Pay (P2P) is one of the organizations in GBS that helps make a difference in how we continue to value the vendor and employee experiences. Purchase to Pay is looking for an experienced Analyst to apply domain expertise to continue to develop efficient processes and analytical solutions for our business needs. You will work on several reporting initiatives and projects simultaneously and will also be involved in the full project management lifecycle. You will also play a key role in supporting our subject matter experts, leadership, and business partners, as well as help to handle ad hoc data requests. Strong candidates will meet or exceed the qualifications below and must be passionate about the role.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years Business Analysis experience with a focus on reporting, tools, and process improvement on regional to global scale
  • 5 years practical experience in process improvement, analytics including scaling and service life agreement metrics, and innovative solution strategies such as Agile
  • Experience working with automated accounting systems, SAP preferred
  • Ability to develop requirements for various technical teams to build meaningful solutions
  • Ability to convert datasets into business insights to be utilized by subject matter experts to identify meaningful business trends
  • Extraordinary focus on details, accuracy and quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Thrives in ambiguous work environment
  • Great teammate with a high degree of flexibility
  • Hands-on experience with visualization and business intelligence solutions such as Business Objects Tableau, and Alteryx, is a plus, when working with technical solutions teams
  • Basic programming language skills such as macros, Python, is a plus, for building requirements and testing solutions
  • Experience applying advanced analytics (ie: statistical methods) in a business environment, is a major plus


The P2P Analyst will support our reporting and processing efforts for APAC and Greater China, while working with EMEIA and AMR to globalize wherever possible. This individual will design and develop process and data workflows and new reporting packages utilizing the latest data visualization platforms, in addition to maintaining and supporting our existing library of reporting, processes, and solutions. Responsibilities include: - Automate process / data workflows - Build standardized reporting - Design and develop management and operational reports to meet business requirements for subject matter experts, leadership and partners - Perform complex analyses and advise management on data interpretation and decision support - Develop, maintain, and document regional vs enterprise global flows / architecture - Work with business and multi-functional teams to thoroughly document reporting processes, systems, business requirements, and functional specifications for reporting applications and systems - Partner with our Finance BPR, Finance Development Team, and IS&T teams on new and existing projects by representing our team during the full project management lifecycle - Serve as a consultant and advocate, using innovative thinking to drive efficiencies and improve the internal user and customer experiences with our tools - Effectively manage stakeholders, subject matter experts, leadership and other internal groups through effective communication - Drive process change through contribution towards improving quality of releases

Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or other quantitative discipline.
