Key Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in Operations, Planning, Finance experience in fast moving product industry.
  • Proven leadership skills including experience managing teams, supply chain process and systems expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and meticulous with strong business acumen and consumer focus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to all levels of the organization

Description

Reporting into Retail Lead, Pacific RFO, you will provide leadership to enable an extraordinary lean retail fulfilment operation at best in class costs, for all of Apple’s Retail stores in the Pacific region. The scope includes leading Asia Pacific retail planning efforts (demand forecasting and supply planning/execution). Aligned with Apple’s global strategies and Worldwide functional teams, your team will lead process initiatives to continually enhance the service levels and efficiencies of Apple’s Retail operations and cost to serve. Excellent cross-functional relationship building and influence will be key to the successful achievement of your team's business goals. You will lead a regional team based in Singapore and be a key member of Apple’s closely integrated global RFO team. You will also partner closely with WW Retail fulfilment group, Regional Supply Demand Planning, Retail Merchant teams and Field Leadership. Your responsibilities include: • Enable Apple Retail growth by partnering with Apple Retail merchant teams to support best in class supply chain with high sales velocity. • Maintain right sized inventory targets in retail stores and hubs without impacting Retail service levels / in-stocks. • Drive Store Service levels proactively at a Store/SKU levels on daily basis. Identify problem and drive appropriate functional groups to correct. • Ownership of inventory targets at stores, optimising the days of supply at SKU level. Improve product planning processes. • Drive stores demand forecasting, inventory, and direct sell through to develop and manage weekly and quarterly supply plans. • Take meaningful business insights through detailed analysis and understanding what are the key business drivers and market dynamics. • Drive and lead reporting and presentation of executive reviews • Lead team to develop automated solutions / enhancements of planning infrastructure to optimise Retail Planning and Fulfillment, support scale and increase efficiencies. • Identify improvement opportunities, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion to achieve targeted measurable benefits. • Responsible for the management of new product transition planning and product launches, promotions to ensure minimal E&O and appropriate inventory balance across stores and countries. • Accountable for quarter end planning and execution for the product family, including projection of quarter end inventory, planning and execution of shipments to stores, assessment of risk, and communication of status/issues to WW and regional management team. • Develop management systems for proactive, detailed and real time management of stores fulfilment supply chain

Education & Experience

Masters or Bachelor degree
