We are looking for a highly motivated project manager, to join the Digital Content Management (DCM) Traffic & Planning Localisation team. You will work closely with our WW Localisation and Project Management counterparts to align on processes and methodologies. You will also collaborate with DCM teams across Singapore and Tokyo, as well as partner teams for the broader JAPAC region (including Marcom, Retail Marketing, Store Operations, and Retail Business), to spotlight JAPAC localisation interests with both WW and other regional teams, in the digital commerce space.
- Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- 5+ years experience in running a portfolio of projects, either agency or client side.
- Experience in managing localisation, internationalisation and/or globalisation projects.
- Experience working in a dynamic production environment.
- Validated skills to present excellent written documents and presentations.
- Experience working with international teams.
- Extraordinary organisation skills while leading multiple projects at once, a master at multi-tasking and delivering quality and detail oriented work.

You are an experienced project manager, who has seen many projects from conception to completion. You are also a born communicator, with the ability to maintain tight relationships across a broad set of partner groups. You thrive in leaving no rock unturned, and deal with ambiguity and paradox with grace. Having a background in product and/or software localisation, you are dedicated to deliver top of class customer experience, and understand how truly localised content is key to successful business. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: Collaborate with regional Marcom teams to ensure consistency of content and localisation across all deliverables, as they translate to the eCommerce experience on apple.com, Apple Store App, WeChat, and Tmall platforms. Lead localisation projects from beginning to end, using our in-house translation management software (WorldServer) and translation memory tools. Work with both internal and external language specialist teams. Manage and direct localisation vendors, giving them clear and concise guidelines on Apple eCommerce requirements. Act as point of contact for urgent localisation requests coming out of the regional teams. Handle regional specific Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, as well as at a WW level for campaigns, programs, and new product introductions. Build reporting for localisation and DCM functions for the JAPAC region. Act as a liaison between the DCM Localisation team and other JAPAC DCM teams to communicate future planning. Identify any regional concerns and relay those considerations back to the team in Apple Cupertino. Run handoff review meetings with Apple DCM teams, Marcom and Retail Marketing/Business partners, and provide feedback on localisation specific needs. Drive process improvements between DCM Localisation and key partner teams in region including: - DCM Production, Design, Dev - Marcom - Retail Marketing - Digital Merchandising - Store Operations - Retail Commerce and Digital Experience Project Management Office (PMO) - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Run hindsight meetings (JAPAC specific) with our regional partner teams including Marcom, Retail Marketing, and Engineering Release Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) to identify areas of improvement. Liaise with EMEA DCM Localisation Lead to build out regional standard methodologies and share takeaways.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or higher preferred. Project Management qualification a plus.
- This role requires up to 50% travel.
