We are looking for a DFM Engineer (Process Engineer) who will focus on flexible printed circuits assembly (FPCA) manufacturing process development and process & quality improvements. Description

- Act as project leader to oversee a variety of projects, collaborate with factories and manage on technical and quality. - Collaborate with upstream and downstream on design, process, quality, specifications and issues. - Plan, develop and implement technical procedures for FPCA manufacturing process and quality requirements. - Provide early manufacturing involvement to ensure new products is manufacturable. Perform design, manufacturing process, quality review, identify design and manufacturing risks, provide design and process solutions during New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production, and handle the implementations and qualification. - Establish guidelines, Standard Operating Procedure & Best Known Method for manufacturing process & quality control. - Manage NPI projects and build, improve quality and efficiency, to ensure seamless transition to mass production. - Travel to support manufacturing builds & resolve hot issues. Relocate and onsite support critical NPI/sustaining projects as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science fields.
  • Minimum 3 years quality or process engineering experience in electronic industry.
  • Be proficient in using process & quality tools like: SPC, MSA, FMEA and etc.
  • Good communication, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Good team-player and independent, able to work under fast pace, committed and result orientated.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 5~10 years' experience of engineering, design, manufacturing, NPI, engineering program management, quality or supplier management in electronic industry, SMT /assembly experience and managerial experience.
  • Familiar with quality management methods like 6 sigma, reliability test, failure analysis methodology and etc.
  • Work with multiple functional groups, shown strong leadership.
  • Passionate & highly independent individual, good discipline, responsible and trust worthy.
  • Experience of coding, smart manufacturing, digital transformation or AIML is an advantage.
