The Emerging Technologies team is seeking a Visual Designer to create groundbreaking new experiences for Apple’s global sales organization, with an emphasis on wireframes and visual design. This role will partner with senior UX Designers to understand business requirements and produce wireframes, visual designs, and design specifications produced by software engineers. Apple Staffing, Training, & Communications is responsible for training and enabling salespeople at Apple resellers globally, including mobile carriers, consumer electronics stores, and enterprise partners. Your work will be key in informing salespeople around the world about Apple products and helping them deliver an extraordinary customer experience. At the end of the day, we are here to help enterprise businesses transform the way people work— while growing top-line revenue for Apple. To realize this goal, we gain deep understandings of the businesses we manage—at all levels from tactical to strategic. We build a vision that can inspire customers to transform using Apple products. We collaborate closely with internal and external partners to craft plans for solutions and new use cases, and then we help drive execution of the solution.

Key Qualifications

  • You have 3+ years of visual design experience
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of typography, iconography, color theory, and visual composition
  • Deep understanding of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other modern design and prototyping tools
  • Deep knowledge of macOS and iOS
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in order to deliver a quality product while advocating for visual design and brand consistency
  • Experience crafting for web and iOS, including responsive design
  • You demonstrate capacity to work well in a team environment and individually with little direction
  • You are meticulous down to the pixel
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and tight timelines
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • You bring a high energy and a positive attitude
  • Able to work flexible hours (OT and weekends may be required)
  • You have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates the above


Collaborate closely with instructional designers, programmers, and UX designers to create visually compelling graphics and UI’s with a consistent visual style Build icons, UI visual design specs, graphics, prototypes, and other visual assets Incorporate feedback and iterate rapidly Enforce to and extend style guide and visual language that is consistent with Apple design standards Present visual designs to team and management while clearly articulating design rationale

Education & Experience
