Apple Staffing, Training, & Communications is in search of a Graphic Designer who will be responsible for creation of successful design solutions to support the training of Apple resellers. You will be responsible for creating designs and illustrations for digital and motion graphics and you will regularly review work with stakeholders to ensure it’s on strategy and aligned with other activities in the group. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in developing creative solutions in a variety of media, has a working knowledge of the creative development process, and consistently delivers solid design solutions.

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to develop innovative designs which meet objectives and align with Apple style
  • Good design skills with an ability to evaluate one’s own work as it relates to Apple’s brand and needs
  • Ability to accept feedback and redirect work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to articulate ideas in a manner that is clearly understood by stakeholders and business partners
  • Solid skills with design software used by the department, including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Good organization and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide accurate work estimates and deliver projects within deadlines
  • A good understanding of the design development process including schedules, costs, and resources needed to efficiently produce high quality work on time and to specification

Description

In this position, you will be accountable for developing and implementing designs and design elements with limited supervision. Designs and illustrations will be created to support interactive training content that will be used by Apple-badged and parter salespeople who sell Apple products around the world. Care must be taken to ensure designs work well in different cultures and in different languages. Design work must meet defined quality standards in a timely manner. You’ll need to regularly review creative work with team members and business partners to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities in the group.

Education & Experience

BA or BS in communications, art, film, broadcast, audio, media production, or related field

Additional Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or other related design discipline preferred.
