Apple Media Products Creative Marketing team is looking for a world-class Creative Manager for their Apple Music and Beats1 Marketing Design team. This is a role for the visual designer, communicator and problem solver who wants to have their hands in several things at once; who can deliver end-to-end design across media types, screens, formats and technologies; and who can collaborate well both inside and outside their team.

  • Experienced in developing and executing a marketing design, and has an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
  • Demonstrates curiosity; keeps up with the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies and resources
  • Is motivated and driven, and collaborates well with Creatives, Project Managers, Business Owners and Executives to solve complex problems with simple solutions
  • Has experience creating and implementing ideas for a variety of platforms and use cases—and can rapidly prototype those ideas across myriad Apple devices, experiences, and scenarios
  • Has a passion for cultivating relationships, managing and mentoring creatives, and can use that rapport to align teams around a vision
  • Has a keen understanding of local market creative and cultural nuances
  • Has experience managing and hiring a team of creatives and takes pride in mentoring design talent
  • Able to work on a global teams, across time zones, date lines and traditional routine.
  • Strong command of visual and communication design principles
  • Proven mastery of Adobe Creative
  • Passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion and illustration
  • Clear and concise communicator displaying strong organization, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Conceptual thinker who is strategically-centered
  • Authors, shares and merchandises ideas in a cogent and inspiring manner
  • A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider creative / management team—quickly and beautifully

Description

You will be joining a design team that partners closely with business leaders to develop service brands, launch new features and support partner content across a variety of media verticals (e.g. apps, books, music, and podcasts). You’re a creative manager by role, but an art director by function. You are passionate about storytelling, with an eye for detail and a blend of creative and technical production skills. You will work closely with the Creative Director, creative producers as well as cross functional producers to design, create and maintain Apple’s visual presence on social media and across marketing efforts for Apple Music and Beats1.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic, Information, Communication, Web design or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strong creative ideas across digital, social or static and print media
  • 7+ years relevant design + creative leadership experience required; plus for time spent at top design or advertising agencies
  • Clear and concise communication and organization skills
  • Fluency in Apple Music products and related Apple services (Beats 1, Podcasts, iBooks, News etc)
  • Passionate about the Apple brand and relentless in preserving its authenticity
