Primary role is to implement and execute the real estate strategy including identifying new locations, closing real estate transactions and managing all real estate aspects of the fleet within a given geography. This role reports to the Director of Real Estate for AMR.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of real estate or other relevant experience
  • Analytical thinker with ability to simplify complex issues and topics
  • Demonstrated success working as part of a cross-functional team; ability to communicate effectively with all level of staff and influence decision making
  • Ability to structure project activities, resource allocation, timing, and interdependencies
  • Comfort working in and bringing structure to ambiguous environments

Description

Develop and execute real estate and capital expenditure plan Find new locations Create initial store business model and proforma Present locations for approval Negotiate and close real estate deals Secure internal approvals Partner with internal teams for successful store development Evaluation of existing markets: Work with senior executives, store operations, design, development, preservation, finance and market analysis teams to create and implement fleet wide initiatives Work with Real Estate team, external broker network, to execute real estate strategy Real Estate Deals: Work with landlords, legal and brokers on lease negotiations Work closely with Design and Development to ensure successful implementation Manage external Broker network Travel required

Education & Experience

BA / BS degree required or relevant work experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
