The Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization produces key business and technical infrastructure at Apple handling orders from the online store, building applications that improve the retail store experience, providing network bandwidth for our services around the world, processing every transaction in iTunes, and closing the books. As part of the Campus Network Operations Team, the Network Wireless Operations Engineer will be responsible for the delivery and operations of the wireless network infrastructure in the Bay Area which supports Data, Voice, and Video across 100+ buildings including the new Apple Park Campus. They will demonstrate collaboration and interpersonal skills while working with various business units, other IS&T organizations, and their peers to deliver and maintain the wireless network infrastructure in addition to working with Design, Engineering, and Architecture on a regular basis. They will participate in new build-outs, update legacy networks to current standards, and sustain operations with a focus on automation to simplify repeatable tasks.

Key Qualifications

  • Programming knowledge in at least one of thefollowing areas: iOS, OS X, tvOS or WatchOS development (Objective- C, Swift), Webdevelopment (JavaScript, HTML, CSS3), Serverside development (Java)
  • Bachelors degree in: CS, CE, ECE, EECS, IS, IT,and other related fields of study
  • Related internship or job experience
  • Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Plus to have Go, React, D3, or Python experience

Description

The Early Career Development Program (ECDP) provides opportunities across many different teams, ranging from special projects for new business initiatives to operations in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. A few of the positions available to you: Software Engineer Test Automation Engineer Project Manager UX Designer A sampling of teams you could work on based on your interest and experience: Apple Online Store Business Analytics GBI New Technologies HCI & User Experience Machine Learning Mobile Apps Network Engineering Retail Engineering Sales and Marketing Systems SAP Campus Network Operations ECDPs will be placed in a one-year cohort where they will have the opportunity to meet with Apple IS&T Leaders as well as build community amongst themselves by attending educational and social events.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in: CS, CE, ECE, EECS, IS, IT,and other related fields of study
