The role of a Brand Strategist within Apple Media Products (AMP) is to instigate, inspire and guide the development and execution of creative design for Apple Services. By influencing creative decisions that manifest in both marketing and product, you will play a key part in making AMP relevant and compelling to current and potential customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven track record of finding simple, provocative solutions to complex problems
  • Extensive experience working with creative teams in fast-paced environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of research methods, marketing fundamentals and brand frameworks
  • Familiarity with and appreciation for the effects of technology, media and production on creative development
  • Proven ability to impact cross-functional decision-making
  • Capable of leading strategic discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for software and services
  • 8+ years experience leading strategy in creatively driven organizations

Description

You will be joining a design team that partners closely with business leaders to develop service brands, launch new features and support partner content across a variety of media verticals (e.g. apps, books, music, and podcasts). Along with your cross-functional partners, you will help Apple Media Products define their creative identities as they enter into exciting new areas of growth. Specific Responsibilities Include: Own the translation of business objectives into creative strategies Develop briefs that inspire creative teams to deliver effective concepts Apply strategic rigor to creative decision-making across marketing and product Lead conversations that shape how Apple Media Products appear in the world Work in close partnership with designers, producers and business leaders Form relationships and gain insight from people across the wider organization Use different sources of insight and knowledge to craft strategic arguments React to new information, opinions, and direction then pivot quickly but thoughtfully You: Motivated and driven by great outcomes Believes in the power of ideas and creativity Dedicated to seeking new information and insights Demonstrate compassion for people from all backgrounds; keeps up with trends in different categories and cultures Stay in tune with the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies and resources Collaborate well with people from different backgrounds and disciplines Enjoy cultivating relationships and aligning teams around a vision

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Creative Advertising or Design Agency experience preferred.
  • Samples of briefing materials or case study samples required.
