Apple is seeking a highly motivated, pro-active and experienced Operations professional to join the Caffe Macs team. This position overseas and leads all of the operations of Apple Caffe Macs. You possess a high level of integrity, creativity, initiative, accountability, communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaboration and excellence.
- You have 12-15 years of experience in commercial food service (preferably larger corporate program, in house or 3rd party) or managing complex food operations.
- A strategic mindset to cater to a diverse workforce and support multiple facilities
- Exceptionally service oriented - demonstrable customer service is absolutely mandatory
- Stellar organization abilities
- Be dynamic and agile - ability to switch between front of house customers and employee relations in the back of the house.
- Define, collect and analyze data to actively optimize all our programs to better serve the various populations, develop service guidelines etc.
Culinary Skills - Develop and lead culinary program performance and budget metrics and tracking to continually optimize the efficiency and adoption of programs. Exemplary customer service - We use expert industry know-how and connections, mental agility, problem-solving skills, strong management acumen, excellent analytical and strong communication skills. Do you love to communicate to inform, inspire, and promote accountability and growth? Analytical - Develop business case for new projects and program expansion (business, financial and operational) and use your Project/Program Management skills. Identify efficiencies and initiatives geared toward high-volume, low waste, cost-effective solutions while driving inventory control and budget management - establish clear budgets, offering protocol and product. Management - lead people across multiple orgs in multiple locations. Ensure performance and accountability. Lead meetings and create agendas. Interface and report to CFO on quality and performance metrics. Develop the implementation plan and associated budget, headcount/staffing strategy, leading absences, financials working closely with Finance team. Champion the internal communications, mid-year, calibration, annual performance review process for Caffè Macs. We use vendors that require management: You will lead the relationship with these third parties. You will drive compliance and liaison on HR Matters: Compliance issues (wage & hour policies, standards and laws, health and safety standards, practices and procedures), all communications, facilities/space issues. You will champion Learning & Development to build, organize, coach and mentor Caffè Macs manager teams. Inspect, monitor and liaise with EHS on compliance with food safety, inventory controls, labor regulations, training guidelines and company policies.
Education & Experience
BA/BS in hospitality or business related degree is desired, although significant experience in lieu of education will be considered. MBA preferred
