Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years relevant finance experience in a high performance organization
  • Hands-on financial experience performing modeling, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated success in financial process improvement
  • Self-starter who anticipates business needs and thinks proactively
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams

Apple is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our rapidly evolving Apple Online Retail team. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top performer, with personal accountability, teamwork, excellence, and proactive thinking. This team is a key finance partner across all of Apple Retail’s Online and Mobile platforms, Digital Marketing, Merchandising and Publishing. You will directly support Apple Online Retail’s Demand Generation activities (SEO, SEM, Digital Affiliates). The Apple Online Retail Finance team supports Retail’s digital platforms worldwide. This team contributes to the success of Apple by facilitating the planning, establishment, analysis, prioritization and evaluation of complex multifaceted programs. The team provides quantitative assessment and continuous optimization across digital channels and online marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM, Digital Affiliates). In partnership with the business, they also develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts, and report financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to determine key performance indicators, and build models to project and measure performance. The ideal candidate for this role combines strong corporate finance fundamentals with strong business acumen and relationship management skills. The candidate must be able to simplify and clearly articulate key drivers, results, and meaningful details to business partners and leadership. Key responsibilities include: Partner with the business to develop forecasts, annual budgets and reporting, while overseeing continual process improvements related to Apple Online Retail’s Digital Demand Generation (SEO, SEM, Digital Affiliates) and Online G&A investments/spend Develop a deep understanding of your business areas to recommend appropriate investment and run rate metrics to access business performance, inclusive of analytical analysis Support Finance and Online Retail organizations in ad hoc analysis relating to business initiatives Prepare quarterly journal entries to be posted to the general ledger Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures Interact with all levels and departments (Finance, Online Store Ops, Digital Content Management, Analytics, etc.)

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
