Over the last 10 years, the App Store has brought gaming to new audiences across 155 countries and, today, iOS is the most popular gaming platform in the world. But we believe we’re just getting started. We are seeking a talented and seasoned individual to lead the Games Business Development team for the App Store and help define the future of gaming at Apple. You have deep experience in business development and strategic partnerships within the mobile games space. You will report to the Director of Business Management and will be responsible for driving the success of game developers within Apple’s ecosystem.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience across business development, partnership management, product management or management consulting, ideally within the mobile games space
  • Track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong executive relationships at top gaming companies
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile games ecosystem with a strong understanding of freemium monetization and game development
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical stills; finely tuned business judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to develop great presentations and present them to a variety of audiences, including senior executives
  • Integrity, a sense of humor, and excellent interpersonal skills

Description

- You will build and maintain close relationships with key partners to grow their business on the App Store - You will identify and execute on new business development and partnership opportunities in the games space - You will advocate for developer-centric improvements to the App Store based on developer feedback, market research and internal analysis - You will work with internal partners (product, marketing, legal, analytics) to gain support for product and policy initiatives - You will act as a key partner in defining games strategy for the App Store

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
