The Integrated Customer Experience (ICE) team is responsible for ensuring that customers have the best possible experience anywhere Apple products are sold across our channel retail partners. We ensure that customer experience combined with physical (display and merchandising), emotional (selling experience) and virtual (digital touch points) always represent the Apple's values. We are seeking a Program Manager to lead New Product Introductions (NPIs) and other merchandising refresh activities within Apple’s retail partners. As the PM you will be responsible for the US readiness planning, merchandising strategy and field execution for the introductions across 54,000 points of sale in the US that carry Apple products. The NPI PM will work cross-functionally with Worldwide US Operations & Readiness, Marcom, Sales, Channel Programs and other internal and external teams, craft launch scenarios and plans to precisely execute NPIs. After each NPI, you will drive post-mortem reviews with all audiences to identify improvements, define and streamline all NPI processes. Do you have a real passion for Apple and Apple products? - 5-8+ years retail operations, project management, business development, and/or consulting background
- Experience leading NPIs or product launches is highly desirable
- A strong Knowledge of retail store operations processes and consumer electronic
- Experience leading or using 3rd party labor services to execute field activities in stores
- Track record of successful budget management
- Excellent communication, planning and analytical skills are necessary as well as an understanding of the brand and general product knowledge
- Your experience in a high volume and high intensity environment are strengths
You will partner with sales and numerous sales operations teams to develop demo unit forecasts, possible scenarios and introduction processes to ensure flawless execution Manage NPI cross functional team and associated meeting and check-ins Partner with local Field Sales Program Managers to brief Apple & Partner Field Sales teams Provide regular reporting data and details to the leadership team Provide ad-hoc report after each launch and develop a postmortem analysis. Define and lead forecast of budget for NPI Manage special projects such as deployment of graphics and ancillaries related to new program launch, refresh, web shop, and application improvement Understanding and knowledge of US logistics is advantageous
Education & Experience
Minimum BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or related field is required. Advanced degree in business or marketing preferred.
