You will become an integral part of a team that champions engineering excellence, creativity and innovation. Help build state of the art technologies for world-renowned Apple products. In this highly collaborative, highly visible role, you will help lead new project development on Beats products. You will play a key part in providing Beats customers with the best consumer audio products by driving the development and ecosystem evolution of Beats products. Lead cross functional collaboration with design, marketing and engineering teams for audio hardware development. Engineering excellence is expected and encouraged. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills built on a solid foundation of planning and risk management.

Key Qualifications

  • Technical background with hardware development from concept to sustaining support
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a product developer with demonstrated success in designing, developing and testing complex electronics systems
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a role as a successful program manager with involvement from initial concept through product delivery
  • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and a flexible process perspective
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with rapid development cycles
  • Teamwork: you are able to fit in well with a team and understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment
  • International travel is required


Drive the end-to-end execution of hardware development throughout the product development lifecycle and ensure that delivery is on time Ensure product requirements are clearly defined Develop comprehensive project plans Identify and manage cross-functional and program dependencies; quickly and effectively identify and resolve conflicts, issues and risks Manage the execute on-time delivery of an external vendor base Manage and implement programs involving cross-functional disciplines of Acoustical, Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware and Software Engineering Assess and track risks throughout development Deliver regular executive communication/presentations and drive decision alignment across the organization Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication Manage development budgets and engineering builds

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in a related discipline (e.g. EE, ME, etc.) required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or technical graduate degree, a plus
