We are looking for a dynamic individual who is energized about community engagement and possesses a strong entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a strong balance of business and technical skills and is passionate about extending the reach of Apple’s core values to this community. In this role, you will work with the local site managers to represent Apple in the regions in which we have data centers. You will support them to serve as the company’s external point of contact in Apple’s data center communities and help them support the local communities. You will the face and voice of the company. You will expand on Apple’s commitment to operating in a manner that is community-minded, trusted and responsible.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong focus and empathy for the community along with an extraordinary passion for making an impact on the regions in which we are located.
  • Strong collaboration both internally and externally and a track record of coalition-building.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, lead, motivate and build credibility with a diverse set of partners.
  • 5+ years of program leadership experience, involvement and understanding of community issues
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • A strong understanding of the needs of each community and the ability to explain the technology involved in our data center builds to the community.
  • The ability to think strategically and to develop key processes and communications that facilitate program development, execution, and outreach.
  • Strong collaboration both internally and externally and a track record of coalition-building.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several programs at once.
  • Proven record of working across groups and within organizations to grow programs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel both in the US and internationally

Description

You will build on Apple’s current community outreach efforts, document then, and create a program that can be replicate it across the regions where Apple has data centers, including the US, Europe and China. You will build on key processes and communications that facilitate program development, outreach, and execution. Responsibilities: - Work with local Apple staff to establish community involvement channels. - Develop and manage regional local initiatives - Working along the site manger, establish a strong local network, engaging and building productive relationships with regional leaders to promote Apple’s community engagement models. - Partner with local programs or organizations to address community needs - Develop key processes and communications that facilitate program development, outreach, and execution. - Study, inventory, and provide analysis and recommendations on the region’s community needs.
