We are seeking an Information Security Manager, who will lead a team of project and process management professionals that support Apple's Information Security risk assessment process and drive security initiatives and engagements. This role is also responsible to recruit extraordinary talent to grow the team. Apple Information Security is responsible for identifying, managing, and mitigating risks to Apple and its systems, services, and data. Our scope includes everything from customer applications like iCloud and iTunes, to enterprise services like retail payment systems that support our physical and online storefronts. We work multi-functionally with teams Apple wide, providing security consulting services and driving security projects. Our talented team of technically oriented process and project management professionals is a key to our success.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of fast paced project managers, process engineers, and/or analysts
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management fundamentals and models
  • Prior experience and consistent track record leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with leading and enhancing existing processes and engineering new processes at scale; ideally in the context of a large enterprise
  • Experience supporting or implementing business critical processes and projects
  • Able to drive and improve solutions which involve integration with different teams and tools
  • Identify and resolve project conflicts and inter-dependencies quickly
  • Capable of writing detailed process documentation, visual presentation of workflows, best practices/standards, and more
  • Superb communication skills and polished demeanor, especially across varied audiences; e.g. working with multi-functional technical and business teams
  • Understand and communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner
  • Strong presentation and speaking skills, especially in front of large audiences or high-level management
  • Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail, especially in predicting and preventing potential future challenges
  • Ability to comprehend and apply new concepts very quickly
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Apply strong organizational skills to all aspects of the role

Apple is seeking an extraordinary Information Security leader to support the risk assessment process for projects, applications, services, and infrastructure across Apple, as well as driving projects and processes related to network, system, and application security. This is a management position that requires experience and expertise effectively leading a team with varied strengths of project managers and process engineers. This role will work closely with our security engineering teams and partner multi-functionally with Apple client project teams, peer security organizations, and dependent teams to ensure timely execution of security engagements. A highly organized, results driven manager is vital to lead the team to successfully handle the high volume of parallel security engagements. This includes the consistent execution of processes, engineering process improvements, clearly articulated process documentation, and leveraging synergies between organizations and processes. Education & Experience

Preferred: Degree in Engineering, or Project Management, or MBA, or 5+ years of equivalent, hands-on applicable experience in large enterprise environments.
