You possess strong analytical skills to understand trends in service, customer behavior and pricing. - 5+ years professional experience in product management or related discipline
- Understanding of Apple’s upstream and downstream systems
- Comfortable communicating with and presenting up and down the organization to senior managers, executives and peers
- Proven product management or large-scale program management experience
- Analytics experience, particularly with product costs and pricing
- Project Management experience required; PMP a plus
- Possess a moderate level of system and technical proficiency
You will focus on innovating the AppleCare product line through the development of new features and the creation of exceptional customer experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Utilize multiple methodologies to launch products and drive enhancements throughout the lifecycle. - Lead product/project lifecycle including strategy, objectives, timelines, cost models, product definition and project plans. - Own all aspects of new product development and launch globally; collaborate with internal partners to ensure that strategy is aligned with the goals of AppleCare, product marketing, finance and Operations. - Build strong relationships to successfully influence and manage escalations. - Develop worldwide product launch schedules to ensure NPI readiness - Manage project risk throughout the life of the product launch. - Own end to end product life cycle including concepts, innovation, launch & sustaining - Craft new business models as appropriate & manage risk assessment. - Own process improvement and develop solutions that target root causes. - Represent the business in formal business requirement writing - Key partner working with IST and BPR through the design, development, testing, cutover and production phases
Education & Experience
Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3-5 years and a Master’s degree.
