Be inspired every day as part of the world’s most successful global retailer. Apple is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support our rapidly evolving Apple Retail Marketing and Merchandising teams. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top performer in his or her career with a proven record of accomplishments. This role will serve as a key finance partner across Marketing and Visual Merchandising, driving forecasting and reporting on high visibility Retail programs as well as analytics and story-telling to support proprietary reporting on investment impact.

Key Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high performance and fast-growing organization
  • Hands-on financial experience performing modeling, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Strategic thinker with critical business issues with ability to act tactically to execute against them
  • Self-starter who anticipates business needs and thinks proactively; ability to work autonomously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy to understand business terms
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and consensus among cross-functional teams and at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a demanding and quickly changing environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel required; strongly prefer experience with Tableau and enterprise software systems (SAP HANA / BPC, Essbase)


The Analyst will be an integral part in the continued growth of Apple Retail, driving the organization’s financial forecasting and budgeting processes. In addition to standard financial analysis, this position will provide consulting and strategic support for finance and business leadership, including the preparation of executive-level presentations and insightful performance reporting. The ideal candidate is a flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate innovative solutions and manage uncertainty. The key business partners for the role are Retail Merchandising and Marketing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Collaborate with business partners to manage operating expense including Plan development, monthly updates to quarterly forecast, and ongoing budget management to Plan Contribute to analysis on high visibility programs and their impact Liaise cross-functionally to aggregate holistic data on KPIs and trends Prepare executive-level presentations Produce periodic reporting for Finance leadership, FP&A, and business partners Monthly financial forecast and commentary for FP&A Quarter close activities including accruals Quarterly operating expense summary and highlights for the business Deep dive on key programs and drivers as needed Implement continual improvements to budgeting and forecasting processes, financial reporting procedures, and compliance / execution tools for the business

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business; MBA a plus
