We need you to have a strong background in Microsoft Windows server and desktop administration. Experience with virtualization, application servers, GPO’s, and system monitoring is a requirement. Daily responsibilities include working with desktop or server end users, helping customers update their systems; identifying, solving problems for end users; deploying and documenting environments and systems; crafting and executing reports on system; writing automation to enable support personnel to provide assistance with issue resolution.

Key Qualifications

  • - 5+ years experience in a Windows System Administration role

  • - You posses deep analytical and organizational skills along with a professional demeanor
  • - Ability to work under stress and handle difficult situations
  • - Ability to form relationships, work independently, and debate respectively
  • - You are passionate and inquisitive, solving everyday problems in innovative ways
  • - Experience supporting large-scale virtualized and bare metal Windows environments
  • - Ability to automate tasks using a scripting language, ideally PowerShell
  • - Experience utilizing centralized Config management using tools at a large scale
  • - Articulate and confident communicator who can effectively convey technical concepts to dynamic audiences
  • - Ability to independently lead projects and distill disparate, ambiguous information into organized action plans
  • - Current on common industry x86 hardware platforms and industry trends
  • - CISSP Certification desired

Description

ENTERPRISE LEVEL ACTIVE DIRECTORY SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION Administration of Active Directory, including user and group management, group policy management, and troubleshooting of connection issues Administration of centralized deployment of operating systems, software updates, and packages using configuration management tools Work closely with internal customers to resolve common software and connection issues, while maintaining security standards Provide advisement to client base on standard methodologies

Education & Experience

BS degree or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Terra-Form
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum, etc)
