In the WW Channel Sales Business Process Re-engineering team, you will play an integral part in leading business stakeholders, technology/engineering teams, and other internal/external partners in the re-engineering of processes and will build supporting technology solutions to match the needs of a continuously evolving global sales and merchandising function. The WW Channel Sales BPR Business Architecture lead is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. If you love charting a path through ambiguity, visualizing a future state, leading our teams toward that vision, and demonstrating frequent business value along that journey, this role is for you. As the Business Architecture Lead, you will be responsible for driving clarity of alignment between goals, strategies, and projects, enabling effective business transformation at the speed of business change. You will achieve this by building a discipline using the Channel Sales “blueprint” to drive superior customer value and revenue. This role will own the blueprint, which will outline our current and future state for operating, including our cascading stakeholder goals and strategies, processes, capabilities, systems landscape, and data flows.

Key Qualifications

  • We want you to be excited to deliver medium to large scale projects on-time with consistently successful results while working across departments and time zones.
  • Experience as either a Business Analyst, Program Manager, or Product Manager driving complex solutions with a demonstrable ability to operate autonomously in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in consumer/channel/retail industry highly desirable, with experience working with sales and/or merchandising teams a plus.
  • Experience working on projects with teams based outside the US including international engagements.
  • PMI/PMP certification and experience with agile methodologies preferred.


The scope of the Business Architecture role includes: • Communicate and clarify the future state for embedding Business Architecture into WW Channel Sales process with our team and partnering teams (WW and regional). Collaborate with all stakeholders to continuously craft the Business Architecture vision further. • Stand up / integrate with Management System(s) that will drive the Business Architecture cycle, including goal/strategy clarification, impact evaluation (using the blueprint), program and project definition, multi-year roadmapping, and measurement. • Design supporting tools and functions, beginning with the current/future state of the systems blueprint, and growing other areas of the blueprint. As part of the systems blueprint design and shape a platform-based vision that is scalable, flexible, configurable, sustainable, efficient, and decreases the need for annual capital funding spend. • Execute selected projects that demonstrate the benefit of Business Architecture process adherence through business value. “Walk the talk” as a project manager in this sense, and refine the approach for team-wide implementation. • Support track teams in the implementation of the Business Architecture processes through consultative assistance. • Provide forums for Business Architecture topic discussions with a virtual team of stakeholders and maintain an organized repository of documents and resources for reference partners. The scope of the Project Management work includes: • We will task you to understand the business strategy and the changing needs of the business via business workshop facilitation and roadmap development. This will involve working with global management teams and colleagues across time zones and geographies. • We believe in establishing credibility as a trusted advisor by listening, understanding their business and quickly providing options for consideration. Effectively leading discussions with various partners and intelligently asking the questions that get to the real business needs (asking “why” and not just taking requirements at face value) will be essential to your success in this role. • Partner with global business partners to map as-is and to-be business processes, define and document requirements and use cases. • Engaging with colleagues across the sales team to identify system integration points and dependencies, and develop high level solution proposals for these integrations. • Partner with leadership teams to craft business cases and budget for changes/projects. • Engaging with leadership, business partners, and engineering teams to develop a project timeline, key milestones, and a communication plan. You will be responsible for the management of projects and thus will need to effectively lead partners, domain experts, executives and other internal groups through superior written and verbal communication. Influencing decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach. • Engaging with partners during preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing, including providing key input to use cases and test scripts. • Use experience, observations, industry trends, standard methodologies, leading technology and process improvement ideas to challenge the status quo and deliver superior customer-focused solutions.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desirable, preferably in Computer Science, CIS/MIS, or related discipline with an information technology focus. Alternatively, business degrees/MBAs with significant experience in technology also considered.
