You will serve as the AppleCare Engineering Direct Responsible Individual for investigating and qualifying new fraud deflection methods. In addition, you will be the global AC Engineering DRI for all fraud deflection related activities.

Key Qualifications

  • Exceptional focus on the customer experience
  • Proven skills solving complex and ambiguous engineering scenarios
  • NPI, Service, or Manufacturing Engineering experience required (consumer electronics preferred)
  • Experience working with internal partners and remote teams to deliver critical projects on short deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and lead multiple priorities in an analytical and results oriented manner
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting directly to senior management
  • Skillful at conveying complex technical information to non-technical teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally (20%)


You will lead the development and creation of fraud deflection guidance with support from Regional Fraud Coordinators and Product SQEs. - Attend development builds and support Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) - Partner with regional coordinators to develop and maintain qualification processes and standards related to fraud inspection and deflection - Identify opportunities for capital program proposals to improve fraud deflection capabilities in all channels - Responsible for investigation and sign-off of newly identified fraud modalities; partner with Product Service Quality Engineers, Operations, and Engineering to confirm fraud modalities - Provide technical evidence to aid in legal and policy sign-off of new fraud deflection methods - Creation and maintenance of related technical requirement documents - Proactively identify fraud deflection opportunities and work with internal teams to investigate, develop, and deploy solutions

Education & Experience

BS/MS in engineering discipline (Electrical engineering preferred)
