We are looking for a Software Product Marketing Manager to help shape the future of iOS and macOS, the software platforms that bring the iPhone, iPad and Mac to life. At Apple, we combine product development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Marketing Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization. As a Software Product Marketing Manager, you’ll represent the needs of the user from the development, through the introduction, to the eventual obsolescence of your product. You’ll work on Apple’s Apps, Operating Systems, Software Technologies and/or Services. Project responsibilities can range from features like Animoji and Dark Mode to technologies including Intelligent Tracking Prevention and Swift. Sound interesting? Key Qualifications

  • A real passion for great products
  • Software application, operating system, core technology, digital service or related industry background
  • Experience as a marketing lead in a cross-functional product development organization
  • Experience as a marketing lead in an integrated, outbound marketing organization
  • Experience working with media on high-profile technology products
  • Excellent written, spoken and presentation abilities
  • Strong technical background or aptitude
  • Domestic and international travel required


- Provide marketing leadership from development and introduction through obsolescence of your product, seeing opportunities, articulating issues and making clear recommendations - Research and synthesize industry, technology, market and competitive trends to build expertise and identify new product horizons - Understand and communicate user needs and perspectives to inspire the broader organization, and help conceptualize new products - Negotiate product trade-offs impacting cost, schedule and usability to improve user experience - Collaborate with software engineers and product designers to bring new software products to life - Position products and craft compelling end-user messaging for the highest impact - Launch products worldwide in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations and events teams - Travel the world as an ambassador for Apple products, working with industry, customers and press - Evaluate user feedback and integrate key insights back into the organization

Education & Experience

- BA/BS degree - MBA preferred
